Holiday Shoppiong on a Low Budget
This holiday season shoppers will have to strech a limited budget and buy for all. One great way to save is to look at th dollar section or shop at the dollar store. Most major stores have a bargain section where one can creatively find deals to satisfy the holiday spirit. For instance, I was shock to find a major retailer offering all types of deals on items less than 10.00. Also, making list help key impluse buying under control. Shopping for yourself should be off limits until after the holiday season. Furthremore, use online shopping outlets to declutter or create space in your home. Giving is the spirit of the season, so find a local charity that can benefit from items you no longer use.

Time with Family
Tis the season or not more and more workers are not able to spend time with their love one's this Christmas season due to the economy. Employers know that workers will not risk loss of pay or possible loss of their job for the holidays. As they say some things money can't buy and family is surely one of those things. Hopefully, working together we will realize the importance. Realizing the gift of time has not price and can not be bought back later. Take the time to spend with your love ones and let them know you care.

Gifts for the Holidays
This year as we continue to experience a slow moving economy and massive job loss. We should use the holiday to reflect on giving. The retail industry continues to focus on the need to spend money on gifts to show others we care. This holiday we can focus on regifting or developing creative and thoughtful gifts. Here are a few suggestions for those on a low budget to consider:
1. Develop a color theme and find items that are useable.
2. Focus on the person's individual taste and needs. This shows a deeper level of thought and care.
3. Set limits and how much to spend to maintain a budget.
Items such as baskets, trays, or use a plastic shoe box to place gifts.
Go to the local dollar mart and purchase low cost wrapping.
If you know the person is into recycling or conservation, use brown paper bags for wrapping.
These are some helpful tips as we focus on giving to others.
